Subi Space provides a professional, tranquil and warm learning environment that will increase the success of your event and the value of your offer.
This space is very versatile and practical, with a number of table sizes to create different seating arrangements, numerous breakout spaces and relaxed seating areas.

Subi Space generously allows for 10-20 people, and ideally around 16 for workshops or seminars, which just so happens to be your perfect small-group size.

Cleaning:
We ask that you clean up after yourself, leaving the venue in the clean state you found it. If you would prefer to leave this for our cleaner, we'll organise this for a small cleaning fee of $50. Please note this fee is compulsory for events involving food & drink as this requires additional cleaning and kitchen supplies.

Do you supply Tea + Coffee?
We sure do! We provide an assortment of herbal teas and coffee, complete with full cream and an almond milk option. Additionally, you'll find refreshingly cool bottled water stocked in the fridge for your convenience.
Do we set up the space?
You've got plenty to organise already (we know!) so we'll take as much work off your hands as possible by setting up the space for you. Simply check out our Seating Arrangement Options PDF above or chat to us about the best arrangement for your event.
What's the Cleaning Fee Option?
If your event involves food, drink or craft, the Cleaning Fee is compulsory, as we have to do an intensive clean of the whole space afterwards. Unfortunately it's unavoidable as these types of events always produce more mess than you expect and our cleaner doesn't work for free.
Do you have a Toilet?
Yep! Your guests won't get lost trying to find it either, as it's just next-door to the kitchen adjacent to the main open-space area.
What about a shower? There's a disabled-access shower and toilet located on the ground floor of the building.
Can we bring Catering?
Yes absolutely! You're more than welcome to bring food and drinks, Subi Space is open-plan, so you'll have easy access to the kitchen.
Please note for events involving food/drink the Cleaning Fee is compulsory.
What Parking is Available?
Being centrally located, doesn't usually coincide with free parking (Boo.. yes we agree!) However, we've done the research to give you the best tips...
- Street Parking is FREE and unlimited from 12pm on Saturdays and all day Sunday. (WooHoo!)
- For day-time Parking the best options are:
#1. 121 Hay St - Wilson Parking on 121 Hay St. (2-3min walk) (book online for early-bird discounts)
#2. 21 & 31 Olive St / 191 Churchill St - City of Subi Long Term Ticket Parking. (1-2min walk)
#3. 189 York St - City of Subi Long Term Ticket Parking. (2-3min walk)
Is it Wheel-chair Accessible?
Yes, our level (1) is accessible by a large lift, and Subi Space itself is wheelchair friendly. We also have a wheel-chair accessible toilet and shower located on the ground floor of the building. (Directions are provided on the Welcome note as you enter Subi Space).
What's the Guest Clean Option?
We ask all our guests to leave Subi Space as clean as they find it. This includes wiping down table/bench surfaces, doing dishes, taking your rubbish out, mopping up any spills and popping our robot-vacuum on before you leave.
If you'd rather leave this to our cleaner we'll cover it with a $50 cleaner fee, and we're happy for you to choose what works best for you!
What Kitchen Equipment
do you have?
Our well-equipped kitchen includes a fridge-freezer, sink, microwave, kettle, toaster, 18 x glasses, 18 x mugs, cutlery, cheeseboard, various plates and serving bowls.
If you're bringing catering, we'll also have paper plates and serviettes on hand for your convenience.
